After a wavy rocky start in Rosario Strait – waves averaging 3 feet because of 15-20 knot winds against a strongly ebbing tide, we had a smooth sunny 5 hour uneventful cruise through the San Juan Islands to Montague Harbor on Galiano Island in the Gulf Islands of Canada.
Now we are comfortably anchored and are seated at the Crane and Robin bar and restaurant for the arrival beer!
Our friends Ted and Sarah are not far behind us on their boat, and we will plan our next few days journey up the BC coast this evening.
Safe travels, dear friends! We are with you every mile of your fantastic journey. Love to live vicariously through you 💕
